Start with the layout of the building.

The lodge has three levels. The independently operated Jeffrey Room is on level one. Five guestrooms, the lobby, boot room and access out to the barrel Nootka sauna are on level two. Six guestrooms are on level three.

Ask about the route from arrival to the room and facilities you plan to use, including any stairs or thresholds. Confirm the particular room and bathroom details that matter to you before completing a reservation.

Tell us the features you need.

A description of practical requirements is more useful than a diagnosis or medical record. Include your dates and the room type you are considering, then list the details you need to assess.

  • The route from parking and entrance to your guestroom
  • Steps, thresholds, door clearances and space to move
  • Bathroom layout, fixtures and transfer requirements
  • How you need to receive or read arrival instructions
  • Service-animal requirements or access to a particular shared facility

Plan for contactless arrival.

Self check-in begins at 4pm and checkout is at 11am. There is no staffed front desk. Save the arrival instructions for your reservation before travelling.

If you need instructions in a different format or assistance planning the final approach, discuss this before booking. Ask specifically about any help you would need on site so your arrival plan reflects what is available.

Restaurant and group access.

For a visit to The Jeffrey Room, ask the independent restaurant about its entrance, seating, toilets and the facilities relevant to your plans. Call (250) 439-1230 for restaurant questions.

For a group stay, raise access requirements before rooms or gathering spaces are allocated. Include the proposed seating, equipment and session arrangements so the party’s practical needs can be discussed.

Get help with a website or booking barrier.

If a page, form or booking link is difficult to use, call (236) 233-1636 or email bookings@copperhorselodge.ca. Tell us the page address and what you were trying to do. You can include the device or assistive technology involved if that helps explain the issue.

Cloudbeds hosts the online booking journey. If you encounter a barrier there, contact the lodge to discuss the stay you are trying to arrange and the available next step. Do not send passwords or payment-card information in your message.
