Plan a whole-lodge stay for your ski crew, extended family or retreat group at the base of Kicking Horse. Nine double-queen rooms and two king rooms accommodate up to 40 overnight guests when beds are shared. We will work through the rooming plan and arrangements for your dates.

Start with the rooming plan.
The lodge has 11 separate guestrooms: nine with two queen beds and two with one king bed. The maximum of 40 overnight guests assumes bed sharing. A team wanting individual rooms or friends wanting separate beds will use that accommodation differently.
Make a first list of who would share a room, who would share a bed and who needs a room of their own. Approximate numbers are enough for an enquiry; we will discuss the arrangement against availability.
Know what the whole-lodge arrangement covers.
Your accommodation proposal will set out the guestrooms, shared-space arrangements and terms for your stay. Copper Horse Lodge has three levels: The Jeffrey Room on level one; five guestrooms, the lobby, boot room and sauna access on level two; and six guestrooms on level three.
The Jeffrey Room operates independently. A whole-lodge accommodation booking does not automatically include restaurant meals or exclusive restaurant use. Discuss any access requirements before the rooms are allocated.
Keep the mornings simple.
The included all-day self-serve lobby snack bar gives the group a place for coffee and casual bites. All guestrooms have smart TVs, and complimentary Starlink Wi-Fi is available at the lodge.
The Kicking Horse gondola is a short walk away. Skiers, walkers and those choosing a quieter day can make their own plans, then return to the same mountain base.
Shape the time you spend together.
Tell us if you are planning a welcome meal, a working session, a family gathering or outside visitors. Include the timing, seated guest count and any tables, chairs, screens or audiovisual requirements so the practical setup can be discussed.
Catering and a full restaurant buyout can be explored with The Jeffrey Room by separate arrangement. Menus, dietary requirements, private use and costs must be agreed for your party. The 40-person overnight limit is not a meeting, restaurant or event capacity.
Three steps to a whole-lodge stay.
Start with your preferred dates or a flexible date window, estimated overnight guests and the purpose of the stay. Include any room-sharing preferences that matter to your group.
- Enquire with an estimated rooming plan and the dates you are considering.
- Review available accommodation, the proposed terms and any separate meal or gathering arrangements.
- Confirm the stay, allocate rooms and share reservation-specific arrival instructions with the group.
Plan a smooth group arrival.
Contactless self check-in starts at 4pm; checkout is at 11am. There is no staffed front desk. Make sure the right arrival instructions reach each guest, especially if your group is travelling in several cars or arriving at different times.
For early arrival, late travel or questions about the entrance and building levels, contact the lodge before setting off. Parking and the final approach belong in your group’s travel plan alongside the room assignments.

Is the restaurant private for a whole-lodge booking?
Restaurant exclusivity is not included automatically. The Jeffrey Room is independently operated; catering and a full restaurant buyout can be explored and agreed separately.
