Copper Horse Lodge brings eleven guestrooms and shared spaces together at the base of Kicking Horse. Spend your days out in the mountains, then return for a snack, a sauna and a seat in the lounge.
A little something, whenever you need it.
Coffee before the mountain. A bite when you get back. The complimentary lobby selection is self-serve and available throughout the day, with coffee, espresso, lattes, hot chocolate and a water filling station. Food options can include yogurt, egg bites, bread, bagels, cereal, oatmeal and fruit. Offerings vary and are kept stocked.

The outdoor Nootka barrel sauna is a place to unwind after a mountain day. Indoors, the shared lounge gives you somewhere to read, talk or spend time together beyond your room.
Leave ski boots in the boot room and settle into the evening.
Connected when you need to be.
Free high-speed Starlink WiFi and modern networking serve the lodge. Every room includes a modern smart TV. Every room includes a Nespresso machine for self-serve espresso. For a retreat, talk to us about your group’s meeting, screen or equipment needs while planning.
Find your way around.
The lodge has three levels. The independently operated Jeffrey Room is on level one. Level two has five guestrooms, the lobby, boot room and sauna exit. Level three has six guestrooms.
If stairs, luggage handling, room placement or bathroom access will affect your stay, discuss your requirements before booking.
Arrive with your plans in hand.
Self check-in begins at 4pm. We send your self-check-in information by email and text, with a guest portal for your booking. There is no staffed front desk; contact the lodge with access questions. Check-out is at 11am.

All guest FAQsIs the sauna included in a room stay?
Guests have access to the lodge’s outdoor Nootka barrel sauna. Follow the on-site operating instructions.
Does the lodge have a reception desk?
There is no staffed front desk. Guests use contactless self check-in, with check-in from 4:00 PM and check-out at 11:00 AM.
Is the restaurant part of the lodge booking?
The Jeffrey Room is independently run. Restaurant meals, catering and restaurant buyouts are arranged separately; they are not automatically included with your accommodation.
