Start with the wedding date, venue and the nights your guests need. Some may arrive early to explore Golden; others may stay only for the celebration. Those differences help shape the right room arrangement.
Discuss king and two-queen rooms for couples, families and friends, or enquire about the whole lodge. Identify who will organise the accommodation, who needs a separate room and how room assignments and booking terms will be handled.
A base for an Eagle’s Eye wedding.
For a wedding at Eagle’s Eye Restaurant, the resort’s guest journey begins at Kicking Horse Plaza before the Golden Eagle Express Gondola carries guests to the summit venue. Copper Horse Lodge is a short walk from the base area, making it a practical place to stay for that journey.
Follow your wedding organiser’s confirmed meeting time, boarding instructions and return plan. Allow for mountain weather, footwear and individual access needs. Lodge accommodation, the resort venue and gondola arrangements are confirmed separately.
An easy place to spend the time between.
Guests can meet over coffee, choose their own mountain outing or relax at the lodge. Complimentary Starlink Wi-Fi, smart TVs in every room and the barrel Nootka sauna add comfort around the weekend’s plans.
The included self-serve lobby selection is available throughout the day, with coffee, hot chocolate and breakfast favourites such as yogurt, egg bites, bread, bagels, cereal, oatmeal and fruit. Offerings vary and are kept stocked, so guests can help themselves around the weekend’s plans. Arrange restaurant meals separately.
Arrange a welcome meal with The Jeffrey Room.
A shared dinner can bring guests together before the main celebration. The Jeffrey Room is independently operated on the lodge’s first level; catering and a full restaurant buyout can be explored by arrangement.
Share the date, seated guest count, timing, dietary needs and any equipment or private-use requirements. Meals and gatherings need their own confirmed arrangements. A wedding accommodation booking does not include a ceremony, reception venue or restaurant reservation.
Give guests clear arrival plans.
Contactless self check-in begins at 4pm, and checkout is at 11am. Save the arrival instructions for each reservation and share them with the guests who need them. There is no staffed front desk.
If preparation plans depend on early room access, discuss the timing before setting the schedule. Guestrooms are on the second and third levels, so raise access requirements before room assignments. For an event elsewhere, organise the outward and return transport with the appropriate provider.

Is the lodge convenient for an Eagle’s Eye wedding?
The lodge is a short walk from the Kicking Horse base area, where the resort wedding journey begins before boarding the Golden Eagle Express Gondola. Follow the organiser’s confirmed meeting, boarding and return arrangements.
Can guests check in early to get ready?
Standard self check-in starts at 4pm. Contact the lodge before making plans that depend on earlier room access; it must be discussed for your dates.
Does the accommodation include a reception or restaurant booking?
No. The accommodation, resort wedding venue and any Jeffrey Room meal or private gathering are separate arrangements.
