Glacier Raft Company publishes Family Adventure, half-day White Water Express and full-day White Water Discovery trips. Wild Water Adventures offers Gentle, Whitewater Exciter and The Tradition. These names are a useful shortlist; compare the specific river sections and requirements for your party.

Choose the date around the river experience.
Wild Water lists a season from mid-May through mid-September. Its guidance identifies June and early July with higher water, while later summer brings a different river experience. Ask your chosen operator which product fits the people travelling and the conditions for that date.
A family product still has participation requirements. Give the operator ages and any relevant concerns before paying, so everyone can be booked into an appropriate experience. Arrange the river day first if it is the main reason for your trip.
The day starts at the operator’s meeting point.
Use the address in your booking confirmation for navigation. Wild Water’s River Base is on Beaverfoot Road; other operators have their own check-in arrangements. Plan the journey from the resort village and the return to the lodge.
The full outing includes fitting equipment, briefing, transfers and changing as well as time on the water. Use that total commitment to decide whether another activity or a dinner reservation fits.

Give non-rafters a day they can enjoy too.
If part of the group is rafting, decide who has the vehicle and how everyone reunites. A town outing or suitable walk can work for companions with independent transport. Time at the lodge is another option for someone who prefers a quiet day.
Ask the operator about arrangements for non-participants before including them in a transfer or meal. A shared evening can bring the group together after different activities.
Book the nights around your outing.
For an early river start, arrive at Copper Horse the previous evening. Self check-in begins at 4pm; keep your arrival instructions available before travelling. A second night after rafting gives you time to change, have dinner and enjoy the evening before the onward journey.
Choose a king room for up to two or a two-queen room for up to four. Reserve the activity with your operator and the lodge nights separately.
