Make the tee time the anchor

Golden Golf Club lists an 18-hole course and practice facilities including a grass-tee driving range and putting green. Its destination is 576 Golf Course Drive, Golden. Use the club’s tee-time service or contact its team on (250) 344-2700 to plan the round.

Confirm that the course and facilities you want are operating for your dates. A booking calendar is a place to check availability, not a promise of year-round play. Ask the club about current conditions, arrival instructions and the requirements for your chosen time.

Confirm equipment before the journey

If you are travelling without clubs, contact the golf club before fixing the rest of the day. Ask whether rental equipment is available for your date, the options that fit each player, and how collection and return work. This guide does not assume a rental set, cart or lesson is available.

  • Player numbers, experience and your proposed date.
  • Any club-rental requirement, including handedness and fit.
  • Whether you plan to walk or need a cart, and any access requirement.
  • Time for practice, check-in and equipment collection before the tee time.
  • What the selected booking includes and its current change terms.

Use the club’s own information for fees and booking terms. A Copper Horse room reservation does not include a round, equipment or course transport.

Plan a separate trip from the resort base

Copper Horse is at the Kicking Horse resort base at 1587 Cache Close. Golden Golf Club is a separate road destination. Plan the route from the lodge to the course and a return journey; being near the gondola does not put the golf course within the same walk.

Leave room for check-in and practice when setting your departure. If companions are doing something different, agree each person’s transport and where you will meet afterwards. Use our lodge directions for arrival and the club’s course destination for golf.

Combine a round with another Golden day

A golf day can sit alongside a Kicking Horse sightseeing day, an appropriate hiking outing or another activity chosen for the party. Give each day its own operating-date and transport checks.

For example, arrive for a lodge evening, play the next day, then use a further full day for a separately arranged mountain outing. This is an adaptable stay outline, not a golf package or a minimum-stay requirement. Avoid tying a fixed tee time to the end of a long travel day without enough allowance for the journey.

For breakfast or lunch during an operating resort season, we recommend Double Black at the gondola base. Check its hours against your golf timetable. Dinner at The Jeffrey Room is arranged independently.

Choose rooms around your group

Two golfers wanting separate beds can each use a queen in either two-queen category. Both categories have two queen beds for up to four guests; four guests share those beds. Each king category has one king bed for up to two guests.

Find the beds that fit. For several rooms, send the lodge your dates, overnight numbers and bed preferences through our group-stay page. Arrange the golf booking directly with the club.

Quick golf-trip questions

Can I walk from the lodge to the golf course?

Plan a separate road journey to 576 Golf Course Drive. The lodge’s short walk is to the Kicking Horse gondola.

Are clubs, carts or green fees included with my stay?

Arrange golf directly with the club and confirm the selected product’s inclusions. They are separate from the room booking.

Can non-golfers share the same holiday?

Yes. Choose their outings and transport separately, then agree a reunion plan that does not depend on everyone finishing at the same time.
